Carol grew up in Cody, Wyoming. In 1977 she married her husband Karl. They raised one daughter and a son. They had been members of Olive Glenn Country Club in Cody for quit some time, and once their son turned 9, Carol thought it was time to "get her monies worth from the monthly country club dues" Thus she started and learned how to play golf along side of her son. And Yes she loved the game. Her son soon exceled in the game quicker than she did, so she joined the ladies association at Olive Glenn and golfed with the girls. She continues to love golf "most of time". She joined the WSWGA as soon as she was "of age" in 2007 and has played in every annual tournament except one (Rawlins when her daughter got a kidney transplant the day of the tournament). Carol has worked for the State of Wyoming for over 35 years. Carol has also done volunteer work for FEMA & Salvation Army for over 30 years.

Mishelle joined the WSWGA in 2020. She was elected to the board in 2021 and re-elected in 2024.

Mishelle was born in Oakland, California and met her husband, Michael, while working for the State of California. They married in November of 2005.

In 2011 they decided to hit the road in their 5th wheel and traveled full time until 2020. In 2017 they found their summer spot in Star Valley. They will be moving into their new home on the ranch this year, 2022.

Mishelle joined the Star Valley Ladies Golf Association in 2020 and also is a member of the Lake Tamarisk Ladies Golf at their winter home in Desert Center, California. She has served as president of the Lake Tamarisk Ladies Golf and also has been treasurer of various groups. Her career was in bookkeeping and accounting.

Mishelle considers herself a hacker where golf is concerned, but she enjoys the game and especially getting out with the girls. She encourages anyone who enjoys playing golf to join a group no matter what their handicap is and sign up for tournaments. You will never regret it as it is a great way to meet people and share your love of the game.

Marla was born in Jefferson City, Missouri. At the age of 5, the family moved to Casper. Marla is married to Bruce and they are blessed with 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In her early 50's, Marla took a couple of golf lessons and was asked to play on an informal lady's golf group once a week in Glenrock. Her husband told her if she could learn how to play golf on the Glenrock golf course, she would be able to play anywhere. She quickly learned to love the game of golf and everything that the game includes. After her retirement as a legal secretary/assistant for over 30 years, she joined the Thursday morning Casper Municipal Golf ladies league.

In 2021, Marla and Bruce purchased a "second" home in Sheridan. They were fortunate to find the perfect condo at Burton Flats which once was an elementary grade school. Bruce still works at owning his own painting contracting business with no immediate plans to retiring so Marla spends a large amount of her free time in Sheridan. After reconnecting with friends who also have moved to Sheridan from Casper, she joined the Kendrick Golf Course women's golf group. It was at that time she learned about the WSWGA and decided to join and at the same time signed up for their annual tournament.

Maria is looking forward to the next three years performing her duties as secretary to the WSWGA.

Cathy was elected to the board in 2021 and was then re-elected in 2024.

Cathy was born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming, married (Grorge) in 1976, had two children and started playing golf in 1983. We loved it so much, we joined Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club and were members there until 2009. I joined the Ladies Association and played on the Tuesday after work league until I retired. We purchased our first lot at Star Valley Ranch in 1988 and our current lot in 2008. We started building our home in 2009 and moved to Star Valley Ranch full time in 2010. I joined the Star Valley Ranch Ladies Golf Association and WSWGA in 2009 and played in most of the annual tournaments. We love Star Valley Ranch and what it has to offer. We just recently purchased a home Mesquite, NV so we can now golf pretty much every month of the year!

I would say golf is one of my passions and I hope that someday I can have a handicap of 15 or lower ... however, it's getting harder to achieve the older I get!

I am 62 years old with two children. Hayden is 34 and Sheridan is 19. I have lived in Sundance my whole life and retired from the Sundance State Bank in 2017 after 36 years there. I am still with the bank as a board member.

I first joined the WSWGA back in 2012 and have been member each year since then. In 2019 I volunteered to be the tournament director and negotiated with the golf pro at the Bell Nob golf course in Gillette to host the tournament. We had 84 players that year.

I was first elected to the WSWGA board in 2017 where I served two consecutive three year terms. I then volunteered to run for the board again in 2024 and was elected. I really enjoy assisting the WSWGA when and wherever I can. It is such a fun organization and all the ladies are wonderful.

I love golfing, painting, going for drives and being with friends.

Cynthia (aka) Cynde was elected to the board in 2021 and was then re-elected to serve another term in 2024.

Cynde grew up on the family ranch in Sublette County. Her school years were split between Big Piney (10 years) with her last two years at Pinedale High School. Following a short stint at UW she moved home to marry the love of her life, Ron. Together they raised one daughter who has blessed then with two wonderful grandchildren, both currently excelling in college. Cynde had two careers-25 years each at Wy Telephone Company and then 25 (and counting) in Real Estate. In 2011 she sold High Mountain Real Estate to a younger agent where she continues to work on a limited basis. The past 53 years she and Ron have spent their free time outdoors: either skiing, snowmobiling, water skiing, golfing, fishing or hunting. Travel always centers around golf or fishing. Cynde served in board positions at local and the state level in snowmobile associations and locally for the ladies golf association. Cynde joined the WSWGA 23 years ago and cannot recollect missing their annual tournament. She has traded her waterski for paint brushes the past few years and has been gaining experience, placing well in local and regional competitions and gaining favor by collectors for her landscape, wildlife and western oil paintings.
